Fatwa of the Imam Mahdi in judgement about organ donation and blood donation..

In the name of Allah the All Merciful, the Most Merciful, and peace be upon the messengers, and praise be to Allah the Lord of the worlds..
And Allah the Most High said: {Does one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You abhor it! And keep your duty to Allah, surely Allah is Oft-returning (to mercy), Merciful.}Truthful Allah the Great [Al-Hujurat] 49:12

This means that for the human being his sanctity and dignity whether he is alive or dead surely Allah would never permit to dismember the dead to the fact life and death is in Allah’s hand so the organs of the deceased are incapable on prolong the life of the living.

And in regard for donation of the living with blood or an organ would not cause in their death as the kidney, so no blame in that, as for that the doctors become butchers for organs of the dead and traded it surely this Allah does not and would never permit it for a believer; and for the dead is his sanctity.

And peace be upon the messengers, and praise be to Allah the Lord of the worlds, after this..
Your brother Imam Mahdi Nasser Mohammad Al-Yemeni.

Asalaamualaikum all, this post I was interested in, and would of hoped for more information. As it is, I have researched this topic some time ago, and found that there are many implications regarding blood and organ donation.
Firstly, blood donation, there have been no medical studies as to the effects of blood transfusions, and that there are a small percentage of people who die as a result of transfusions. Also, blood when donated has a very short shelf life, thus needs replenshing stocks on a regular basis. In the US, they are hoping in the near futur to harvest blood from animals, or non humans, rather than humans at present for transfusions !!!
Conclusion is this, blood is NOT 100% safe. and our bodies are quite capable of remaking up any blood lost by itself, without the need for a transfusion. I am testimony of this fact, as one time I lost a lot of blood and refused a blood transfusion, just had iron tablets and dates to rebuild up my blood loss!!!

Does this verse below just constitute towards eating blood ??..or could it be also about taking blood in the form of transfusions also ??
“He has forbidden you only the maytatah (dead animals), and blood, and the flesh of swine, and that which is slaughtered as a sacrifice for others than Allaah. But if one is forced by necessity without willful disobedience nor transgressing the limits, then there is no sin on him…” [al-Baqarah 2:173]

Regarding organ donation, there is an Act in force, called the "Anatomical Gift Act 2006" mainly in force in US, UK, and other European countries, that means that upon death, organs will be harvested, if you are healthy...ish, without needing to ask the patient or family. It is an Act that makes every person automatically signed in for organ donation. So in order to opt out, you have to make it knoen by signing an opt out card, and letting relatives know about this.
Also the term, brain death/ dead, is a made up term in order to harvest organs. A patient has to be ALIVE no matter what in order to harvest organs, so when a patient is called brain dead, they are alive, and thus killed whilst having their organs taken out, which then results in their death, having also being paralysed in order for the oragns to be taken., so they dont move or sqirm about....
A body that has died by natural means or accident etc,....cannot have its organs donated, because they start to deteriorate immediatly upon death, within minutes....Organs are only any good so long as blood is still flowing and the heart is still pumping....
So conclusion as regards organ donation, it cannot be carried out on a dead person, you have to be living, brathing to be harvested. True, as Nasser Muhammad says about the Kidney, as we have two in our bodies, and can survive with one, though this would lessen our chances of its functions, as we were given two to work efficently!, by Allah.

In the name of Allah the All Merciful, the Most Merciful, and peace be upon the messengers, and praise be to Allah
    the Lord of the world
we Alkum Alsam wa Rahmato Allah
and Blessed Ramdan to be on you and your family
I just would like to state that verses you had quoted from surah AlBagrah
is talking about blood of slaughtered animal. The blood that comes out running from its neck as the animal is put to slaughter, and that is why when you slaughter a sheep you must leave the neck attached and not to cut it out completely from the body in order to drain all this blood out
And it is clear in these verses e verses of
    Surat Alanam
145ay: 'i find nothing in what has been revealed to me that forbids any one to eat of any food except the dead, running blood, and the flesh of swine for these are unclean and that which has been hallowed in its slaughter to other than allah. but whoever is constrained to eat of any of these, not intending to sin or transgress, then your lord is forgiving, the most merciful. (145)
    true is Allah word.
So you are wrong if you thought it had to . to do any thing with human blood
Blood transfusion is permitted in Islam
Sorry if.writing from my cell dy the rest

In the Name of Alah the One and The only

My Dear Brother God bless you
Congratulations for your allegiance & well come among your brothers and sisters
about the blood transfer you were right the body doesn't need any blood transfer it can regenerate blood by itself ,but in some cases specially when body loss too much blood then the transfer become very necessary or else the patient will have a heart fail and die

now the answer for your question my dear is that the Verse forbidden drinking blood not transfer it & also forbidden eating dead anmils & pig meat & any animal Slaughter with out mentioning Allah's name on it only if you was in no were like desert and have nothing else to eat then know that Allah is merciful

you also mention organs transfer you also were right about every thing you said and you understand what Al Imam said perfectly

if you have any more question don't hesitate to ask

Pace be with you my brother
